Our Family Law Department in Edinburgh is Recruiting

19th July 2019 Posted Under: Family Law

New team members at Gibson Kerr solicitors in Edinburgh

Our team of Family Lawyers in Edinburgh is looking for new team members! We’re recruiting for a Family Law Solicitor and a Family Law Secretary/Cashroom Assistant.

Family Law Solicitor, Edinburgh

We are looking for an experienced solicitor who specialises in family law. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload and will be required to help develop an already expanding department. Part of their role will be to support more junior solicitors in the family law team.

The person will have a strong working knowledge of the relevant law, experience in a client facing role and good communication skills. We envisage that they will have significant experience of dealing with financial provision in high net worth and/or complicated cases and, ideally, they will be accredited by the LSS as a specialist in family law. If not, they will be expected to gain accreditation quickly.

Find out more and apply at LawScotJobs: Family Law Solicitor.

Family Law Secretary/Cashroom Assistant, Edinburgh

We are looking for an experienced secretary, with some experience of cashroom work and credit control, who wants a challenge. If you have experience as a legal secretary, particularly in family law, that would be a benefit. However, we will also consider applicants with relevant transferrable skills who are interested in moving into the legal sector.

Responsibilities will include typing letters and documents, liaising with clients and potential clients, diary management, preparing fee notes, opening client files, and general administrative support. Additionally, the successful candidate will carry out cashroom work and credit control.

Find out more and apply at s1Jobs: Family Law Secretary/Cashroom Assistant.

Application deadline for both positions: Friday 16 August 2019.

No agencies, please.
